What if I told you there was a place where gluten free people come and exchange different Christmas cookies.... what if I told you it was real and in Rochester, NY? One a year right before Christmas the Rochester Celiac Support Group of Greater Rochester gets together and does just that. I should definitely mention that the group meets more than once a year, they meet every month. Visit their website HERE!
Back to the cookies.... to the right are photos of the gingerbread men I made for the cookie exchange. Under those are the photos of all the gluten free cookies I got from other members of the group! At the event it is ideal to bring a to go container to take cookies home with you. You get to try tons of different winter treats, like almond cookies, brownies, and even truffles. Not only do you get free cookies to take home, but most people include their recipe next to the cookie for you to keep and recreate! You’ve gotta love the gluten free community. 10 out of 10 recommend for everyone next year! If you stop by any of their meetings in 2018, tell them Sabrina sent you 🙂 Merry Christmas! Side note... I apologize for this not being on Sunday like I planned, to be honest I thought today was Sunday for most of the day 😬

Oh. My. Goodness. How did I neglect you for 10 months? I'm so sorry for letting such a long time pass. Life got in the way, as well as lack of motivation. I am going to be working on that this coming year. Right now I am on Christmas break from school and was laying in bed bored thinking, "What can I do to curve my boredom?", and realized now is the time to come back.
What have I been up to you ask?
So here is the plan: I will post one blog every week (hopefully) on Sundays. Wish me luck and if you have any blog requests, do not hesitate to ask! Thanks for not giving up on me <3 |
