Hello everyone! Some may know me from my past blog, www.celiactic.tumblr.com, or from the summer camp I created, http://celiacstrongcamp.org. I've decided to step up my game and be an official blogger! I'm really excited for this decision and hope you are as well.
For those of you who don't know me and my celiac story, here it goes. I was diagnosed at age six, originally misdiagnosed with separation anxiety. It took one year to diagnose me correctly; one year for my doctor to believe I was actually sick and it wasn't all in my head. I had all of the usual symptoms: no weight gain, vomiting, tooth decay, upset stomach, etc. With all this being said, I have had celiac disease for 12 years. I have gone through elementary school, middle school, high school, and now college with celiac disease. If you need advice for yourself or your kids, I've got the goods. On this blog you can find my uphill battle with eating gluten free at college, reviews of new or requested products I try, or good gluten free recipes I think you should definitely try. So please stay tuned! I hope you enjoy everything :)
